Wildlife
Westbrook is home to the Stewart B. McKinney Wildlife Refuge, the Salt meadow Unit. The refuge encompasses over 800 acres of barrier beach, tidal wetland and fragile island habitats. It has several miles of walking trails with wonderful bird watching and views out over the scenic riparian lansdcape of tidal river and marshes.
